 Everything is ready for my return to India, after seven years. At that time, in 2017, the reason was to be at the wedding of my daughter Andrea. This was a most interesting experience. You can see some of my comments and videos from that trip here:  http://visitandoindia.blogspot.com/ After a couple of delays, expired passports, sickness, etc. I finalized my flight with Etihad, same airline I used the last time and had the best experience flying. I leave on Monday July1st, and my plan is to return on the 16th of the month. The flight is from Chicago to Abu Dhabi- about 13.5 hours, a lay off in Abu Dhabi of 2-3 hours and continue to Bengaluru (India) for another 3.5 hours. The plan is to stay in Bengaluru for two days, where I join my daughter and family. Then we will go to to Mysore (now called Mysuru). After a few days we'll go to Puducherry, a lovely old French colony where I stayed the last ime.
